What does the bottom line of the error message say? Assume "The Operation Has Timed Out"?

Would assume you have an Internet connection instability issue??

I just ran the update for my HP1 Sentinel software and it was sucessful.

If you know how to "ping" and external site, I would test your Internet connection for high latency and drop outs.

If you are running on DSL service, this may part of the issue?

It's even worse, Hughes net! Firmware update checked successfully, but the database won't go through:(

Hughes Net, oh well!! Agree worse than DSL.

Good luck with this one.

Time to take your laptop to some local hotspot and update there.

Seems the Master Database update will show 3 bars, then pause, maybe some sort of handshake, then download.

You may also try at an off time of day as well??

Maybe Uniden needs to adjust timers in their servers for Hughes Net users??

Sorry but I am on Verizon FIOS Fiber Optic service. :D
