Click on the Link in your original message on the left side, where it says "REPORT" and ask the MODS to move this to
your State/Regional forum, you will likely get more LOCALS there

That web site is just an FCC dumping ground.
IT can only advise you that an FCC license has one of the digital modes as part of the license.

None of that actually means they use that mode, just licensed for it and we have seen agencies/business' etc
list every possible mode and only use Analog

True confirmation and identification falls onthe local listener to OTA (Over the Air) confirm the info and then make the submission to the RRDB
https://digitalfrequencysearch.com/Search/NXDNdisplay.php is this up to date? I've Ben doing alot of research on frequencies

The least expensive scanners for NXDN are the Uniden BCD325P2 handheld and the BCD996P2 base/mobile. Both require the NXDN paid upgrade. You can install the upgrade yourself and save money rather than have the dealer do it. Unfortunately, there is no free programming software for those scanners that supports NXDN. The Towns County radio system is not that large and can be programmed manually using the scanner menus.

I just programmed my new 996P2 with ProScan after the NXDN upgrade. But I have to take the radio to work tomorrow to test if it works. No NXDN near me at home!
ProScan is free for the first 30 days for you to learn and see if it's right for you.

NXDN works great on my BCD996P2 with the upgrade. I have the DMR upgrade also and both work well. Which NXDN systems did you program into your scanner?

No scanners that inexpensive to monitor NXDN.
You have the setup to monitor NXDN. Towns has conventional NXDN repeaters. No trunking involved.

I'm over near you in Clay county NC and I use the BCD325P2 with NXDN upgrade to monitor Towns county. I program with Pro-Scan software. This was the least expensive option for me to get back into scanning. Others are using NXDN radios:
All Union county public safety
Clay county public safety
Union county schools
Blue ridge EMC
Tri-State power
Rabun county police
It was worth the upgrade price for me.

I have never used any SDR devices. Hope someone will see this post and chime in on them. With a NXDN enabled digital scanner you only need to enter the frequency and the Radio Access Number ( RAN ) code to monitor.
