Trying to ID who uses 453.075 PL 82.5. Hearing them loud and clear in Orange County. Sounds like EMS and I've heard references to Kennywood Road and Pine Bride Road. I think they id'd the dispatcher as 315.

There are licensees in all the nearby states for EMS and other uses. None of the callsigns end in 315, though.

Ulster County is also licensed on that frequency.

According to your pages over in east coast scanning KEE-315 is 36-Control's FCC Callsign. But, I can't find that frequency in any of the Fire/Rescue, or EMS listings. Could it be bleed over from another frequency. Also, interestingly, I don't see either of those roads in my JIMAPCO map. There is however, a Pine Ridge road in Cornwall. There is a 453.0625 listed as Uknown usage/unassigned usage for the county, but it is licensed to KCP-696.

He said the DISPATCHER # was 315...he said nothing about any call signs ending in 315.

Anyway...Ossining VAC (Westchester) uses that frequency (WPEC705), and there is a Pine Ridge Rd in town as well as a Wynnewood Rd in nearby Chappaqua. Not sure what PL they use, but that would be my guess of who you were hearing.

res6cue.com,

You're guess is correct. That frequency / PL combo is Ossining VAC's dispatch channel. "315" is a reference to WNWU-315, the Police call sign.

OVAC's PL is 82.5. Their repeater is on the water tower at Browning Drive and Clinton Avenue in Ossining. They have a clear shot to Orange County from this site.

Well, there we have it.

PS - The Westchester section of East Coast Scanning is in desperate need of information. It's completely barren!

I knew I could count on you guys...it was driving me nuts. I was close on the road names but not close enough to id who it was. I'm suprised they are getting around to this side of the mountain. I'm hearing them stronger than some Orange County departments a few towns away.

That river can act as one giant groundplane sometimes. Given that Ossining is right on top of it, I suspect that's why you hear them so strong up in OC.
