These 2 mystery frequencies are listed in the San Mateo County region. When set on FM Analog they sometimes come as buzzing screeching sounds anytime there is activity. Activity is sparse. They can be picked up from the SF Bay Area all the way to the city of Santa Clara.

If anyone is in San Mateo County/Santa Clara area and familiar with them, are these 2 encrypted PD channels (maybe one is an input and the other a repeater?) or are they part of some hidden unknown Analog-Digital Trunking System yet to be discovered?

If they are a single encrypted channel (both input and repeater) then I'm guessing maybe it's a Detective-Inspector channel of sorts.

That's a surprise I was expecting something interesting with a high level of action!

When set in FM mode I haven't been able to hear any conventional traffic on those two. Only screeches and buzzing so I thought perhaps that is encryption.

Don't know how or what mode to program these two in order to hear any audible speech and verify. Thank you

What you're hearing is telemetry for controlling and monitoring irrigation equipment. You won't hear any voice traffic at all. It's a dedicated freq for data transmission.

Thank you for remembering the post and clearing it up.

There is an unidentified Detective channel for that distant city. Not knowing if it is on a different trunked system or not, thought I was close in discovering the channel.
