I bought this antenna back sometime around the early 1990's. Unfortunately, I cannot locate the paperwork that came with it so I am not sure what type it is.
I know it is for the 450-470 MHz range but that's it. The photos are what it looks like after I removed it from the fiberglass housing. My hope is to convert it to an 850 MHz antenna since I have moved and no longer have a use for a 400 MHz antenna.
I know it is a commercial-grade antenna, or at least that's what it was sold to me as. I think I paid about $80 for it if memory serves.
Anyway, does anyone know what type it is? It surely isn't 1/4-wave and not a ground plane, but that's all I can tell.
Photos are attached and include close-ups.
