HELP!!!! M-RK Programming Error

Ok, i have programmed M-RK radios before and have not had this problem. when i go to program this radio it says ADI file missing, program with out ADI file press enter to continue. then it starts to program radio once it finishes programming radio it pops up with an error saying CRC / Radio Code Invalid.

Does anyone know whats wrong with this radio or my programming software?
I am using EDACS3 R14 to program the radio.

I have also tried the recover program, with no sucess. the radio was working fine prior to me tryin to re-program it. Now the radio when i turn it on it just continues to cycle thru startup screen and has no data.

Also the software revisions are all 0......

The ADI file is for digital voice handling. It won't hurt an analogue radio to not have the ADI file (in fact I think they don't come out with one loaded anyway) but if you have an Aegis capable MRK without the ADI file, or the wrong version of ADI file, digital voice won't work on that radio.

Sounds like your FLASH file has become corrupt - either corrupt during a write process to the radio, or is corrupt on your PC hard disk. You'll need to find a confirmed good copy of the file, suck out as much information as you can about the radio (tracking data, feature string, ESN - good habit to do for any radio you touch anyway) and then using this information do a recovery using Radio Maint - which wipes the EEPROM memory and programs everything fresh. It should fix your problem, if you can get at least the data listed above and a good copy of the flash file.

It could have originally been caused by many things, possibly including a faulty cable or interface box, problem with your PC / Comm port, corrupt software on your PC, attempting to program with a less than full battery.... all sorts of things could have caused the problem.
