I have been working on some software for the last year or so on and off that allows me to keep a record of all my scanner frequencies, what channels they are stored in and add notes and details of things I hear.

Over the past couple of days I have done quite a bit of work on it and I am almost ready to let other people use it but I need to find a good name for it, does anybody have any suggestions? Here are a couple I have thought of:

Radio Scanner Data Recorder (RSDR2k10)
Frequency Event Logging Program (FELP)
Paul's Scanner Data Logger (PSDL)
Scanning Frequencies and Events (SFaE

Capitalize on your location. I'd go with something that includes "Down Under" and "Tasmanian" as these terms have a huge resonance with people everywhere. How about the Down Under Frequency Stalker (DUFS) ?

Doh!

DUFUS

Down Under Frequency Usage System

Nahhh.. All too close to DOOFUS:

DOOFUS
Main Entry: doo·fus
Pronunciation: \ˈdü-fəs, -fis\
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural doo·fus·es \-fə-siz\
Etymology: perhaps alteration of 1goof
Date: 1960
slang : a stupid, incompetent, or foolish person

So - How about OZFILES or Down Under Monitoring Program (DUMP) (as in Data-Dump) ;)

Wouff

I like AUlogger the best but maybe it needs to be a bit more descriptive like
AUscanlog
AU Scanner Log
AU Scanner Database
