Hi Mack,

The correct cable for the 600 is USB at one end, but the other end looks more like a stereo speaker adapter.

If you have the correct cable, it plugs into the radio just below the volume/squelch knob. The plug/hole has a blue ring around it.

Of course, you will need to install suitable software on your computer in order to do any programming.
