HELP me.

I used to live in Southwest Michigan. I have a radio shack pro 2096 digital scanner. I always could pick up all of Van Buren and Berrien couniy police on the P25 system. Now I live in Piggott, Arkansas. I have found that Clay county is still on analog but I see that the State Police is on a system called AWIN. I have typed in all the freqs that RadioReference has listed but I never hear a broadcast. What am I doing wrong or is my scanner able to receive the AWIN system? Thanks, James

Clay County also uses AWIN, I hear them daily, Your closest tower will be Hopewell, If it doesn't work as it is now it may require an outdoor antenna to pull the signal in, I have to use one to Pick up Ravenden Tower in Troop B

Correct, Or maybe just a mobile antenna on a gutter.. Anything Outside The House, Rubber Duckie antenna's lose so much gain anyway then after putting them inside it gets even worse.
