Help needed loading new firmware for PSR800

Sorry, but I though this would be the place to ask this question as it relates to the new Phase 2 firmware update for the PSR 800. I just needed some help downloading it to my scanner.

Thanks. I have downloaded from the site to my computer. I just need to know if all I need to do is to plug the cable in from my computer to the scanner and then download it. I don't want to do any damage to the scanner or the work I've already done in customizing my scanner lists.

You need to unzip the package you downloaded and look for the file called "GRE PSR800 CPU Beta Firmware Upgrade Instructions.pdf" and read that before proceeding. It will lead you step-by-step.
