Thank you for the add. I live in New Hampshire. At 71’ I’ve just bought my first scanner.
I got the BC125AT and I have a few questions that I’m hoping I can get answered here.
1. Can someone recommend a YouTube video that will show me how to program in some local PD, FD and EMS channels?
2. I only have an iPhone and a Mac Mini; is it possible to use either of those to program it?
3. Can it be programmed manually (without a computer) and if so; is there a good YouTube video that shows the process?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Welcome to the RR forums. Where in NH are you from? Hoping for your sake your PD, FD and EMS are analog conventional because that's all the 125AT will track...

iPhone, no. Mac Mini, maybe but you'll need a Windows virtual environment to be able to run the apps

3. Can it be programmed manually (without a computer) and if so; is there a good YouTube video that shows the process?

The user manual describes the process quite well starting on Page 37

I did a YouTube search and stopped counting the videos at 20 but there were many many others on how to program and operate your radio just check some out and see which one you like.

New Hampshire is not a good enough location to help people search the database for you to see if you will be able to pick up police Fire EMS in your hometown since it is analog conventional as pointed out above in post #5 where you are being asked where your location is, that way members can look up in the database what you would need to pick up your local emergency services..

You need to provide your county and hometown as mentioned above.

Barnstead, Meredith, and Alton are the only 3 PD's in your area that are analog, all the others are digital. You are going to need a digital capable scanner if you want to listen to the county Public Safety.

Point taken; that being said, we border Belmont and Gilford and their respective PD’s are both analog.

If I had a guess, you're on a PM right now getting the information that you need, too bad about the cops being p25 conventional digital because it doesn't appear as they're encrypted, the fire that you need is Lakes Region..

I found this on the internet and I think it's attached to some pretty smart, popular members here on radio reference who might chime in later as to accuracy of this but it appears to be, for the most part, up to date, per confirmation from said members.
