HELP!! new software and I'm dead!

I just installed all the new software, and get the message " not reading scanner" Sooooo I am off the air untill someone helps me back up!

me to well kinda i think it is running but with no tags i cant hear anything but i think it is sending just not getting the tags can some one please give it a try and see if it is working or not then let me know and what can i help you with maybe i can help you
