I foolishly pared down some of the original presets that came with my BC246T years ago when I didn't understand the lockout function. I've wanted all the original presets back but understand a factory reset will wipe everything and not restore the presets. I've found the original file floating around but being a Mac user can't easily do this myself.

Is there a fellow Uniden owner that may be willing to help out? Or a regular group or meetup in the area that may be helpful? I live and work in the NYC area. I'd happily buy beers or lunch for anyone will to help out or a cash reward if you'd prefer. And I'm super flexible, I just want my 246 back to it's original state—nothing complicated like merge what I have with what I don't. I'm also not opposed to a retailer if anyone has any ideas.

Thank you!

When you say you want all the original presets back, but not a factory reset, what exactly are you trying to do?? Just unlock all your locked channels?

You might want to try running a virtual machine on your mac
