New Scanner

For Seattle I would reccomend a Pro-95 or Pro-96. Both are capable of monitoring and tracking Motorola Trunked systems which is what Seattle and King County use. http://www.starrsoft.com offer software for these scanners which allow you to program military frequencies into these two scanners and also offer you an easier way to programming.

Good Luck

yes, definately. i have a pro-95 and it works anywhere that is not digital. if you want to monitor digital trunked systems - get the pro-96 because the 95 won't do it. the 96 makes a dent in the pocket but is a nice investment.
