I recently purchased a new TRX-2 and had it pre-programed for Franklin county Indiana, Hamilton county and butler county ohio. For the live of me I cannot figure out how to set it to monitor just Franklin county. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in how to do this.

Many thanks in advance

While it is Scanning, What shows on the screen? If it is showing the three different county names, it is probably using three different scanlists. If so, you should be able to turn the two off that you do not want to hear.

I don't think so. I can find multiple videos of the TRX2 on youtube showing the systems while scanning . Did you have the systems named for the scanlists?

If it comes down to it you could also send us your profile and one of us could take a look and tell you what to do.

i should correct myself ..it will show the scanlist name but its not a refined and polished display like bcd536 and other unidens and my pro652 . those you can actually see the channels being scanned....they scrolll fast but you have some feedback whats going on...

Hopefully you installed EZScan when you received your scanner. If not, While the scanner is off, plug it into an open USB port. The computer will see your scanner. It will load EZScan if you don't have it on the PC already. Follow the instructions if it is new.
Click on updates and click on search for all. This way you will be up to date on everything.

Since you paid for someone to program your scanner, not the best of ideas because too much info is generally loaded to the scanner. Once the software is running and has updated everything, check your scanlists to see what was programmed and where. Then you can name your scanlists. In the software, ENABLE the scanlist with Franklin county.

Once this is done, click on scanner/SD and click on copy to scanner and SD card. Once it's done, the scanner will reboot and press the right arrow to get it scanning. You should hear what's been programmed for Franklin county.

HTH,
Larry
