You have talkgroups correct but you are calling them slots. Slots would be 1 and 2 also but for a different reason.

how do i determine slot number ?

im good on both being CC 1
Talk group 1 & 2

Everything can be slot 1 or 2, so depends on software/scanner you may have to duplicate all frequencies and color codes for slot 1 and for slot 2.
ok, this is a TR-2 and it gives option for wild card on Slot (*) so i guess ill give that a try

Are you programming it as a conventional or a trunk system? On the TRX-2 for trunk DMR there is no slot required just DMR CC which you can set to any and then add the talk groups. If you are doing conventional than yes you can program the CC or set to * and set the slot to * .

Yeah, that makes sense now that I think about it-in a Tier 3 DMR trunked system, the system assigns time slot based on availability, so it can change from one transmission to the next.
And in case anyone missed it-DEC in this case means decimal TG id's. They can also be expressed as HEX with digits 0-F.
