help pro 164 gloucester county

I have a question I have a pro 164 scanner and I am entirely new to using a scanner
but I am trying to pick up what is going around town Woolwich Township

Is my area considered a trunk system? I read the frequency is 508-512.5
but nothing is heard on this frequency. Any help is greatly appreciated

I appreciate the response, but if I may ask is it trunked? If so is it Apco25?
or conventional trunk system that I can program this scanner is analog.

It is analog. Not trunked. You can program it in that radio without a problem. The only thing is it doesn't do DCS codes I don't think. But that will not affect how you hear the channels.
