I've had this scanner for over a month, and downloaded through the RR database, but I can't get this to work. Really bummed. My old scanner finally gave up after last summers fires. I want to be prepared for the next round of emergencies, bought the uniden 325P2, and, wow, way over my head. I just want to listen local police, state police and fires in Josephine siskiyou jackson co. area, and info. or help greatly appreciated.
Help programing BCD325P2 for Josephine county police, EMS, Fire etc.

There's a frequency list at JoCo-Scanning.info - I know that Grants Pass Police can be a problem to program IIRC.
I have the frequencies (at least I think I do) So what is the IIRC? this isn't good. hhhhh. I really want the fire, but police is pretty important and coincides with fire anyhow. My old scanner picked up things, but with all the update, I figured it would be better to get a newer one. Maybe not ?
Any suggestions on someone who might be able to program the Grants Pass police? I'd rather not send the scanner but if necessary I will, or if they would help me to do it ? I'm happy to pay whatever it costs.

If you followed my way to do it, people would not have go here and there and pick through this and that to complete
the programming they want.
I have sent my way of doing it my way and I was either ignored or told too many duplicates.
Your loss. Do it right or not.
This of course is just my opinion.

The only way it gets completed and un-jumbled is to submit fixes to the DB team. 'nuff said

I setup my scanners by systems, in this case Josephine County.
Then groups.
1 Public Safety
Like 0155.0100 PUB.SAFETY 100 Grants Pass Police. P25 NAC 107.
0154.7850 OSP GP 3500 PL131.8
and so on.
2 Emergency
3 Public Works
4 Sis-Rr National Forests
5 County Services
6 Airports
7 Business
8 Schools
9 Railroads
It took me many years to learn how to setup my scanner like this.
So much easier to listen to just the groups you want to listen to.
