My FT60 can Rx 700-999.990 MHz Frequencies (FM) - but w/blocked cellular - and am looking for some sources to monitor.

I found this page to monitor some 700 MHz frequencies but cannot find anything else. Appreciate an help you can provide.

I am also finding some FM modes in the above frequency range arrayed across the various categories here:

I'll keep looking...

It's really going to depend on your location.

There are analog users on 800MHz. But it's not as common as it once was. As time has marched on, many have gone to digital modes. There are some business allocations in the band, as well as public safety.

700MHz is going to be mostly P25.
900MHz is changing fast with Anterix buying up a lot of spectrum and building out there LTE system. Searching the FCC database for your area might give you some clues, but mostly those will be trunked systems.

You could try programming in the 800MHz NIFOG frequencies, but usage really depends on location.

This is very helpful. Thanks. I did notice a lot of P25 in the 700 MHz range. I’ll keep hunting around.

Marlboro MA PD and FD were on 800 conventional analog the last time I looked at it. Sudbury PD is 800 conventional P25. There is a small group of 700Mhz conventional analog frequencies that someone mentioned a while back. 900 is going to be digital of some flavor or another and also probably trunked.

Okay, so another option for you would be the analog voice channels of the MSP trunk .

Marlborough is going P25 in the not too distant future.

Ok thanks. I found several 851/853 conventional channels here:

I’ll program those in.

Found four more in Worcester and will try those also and see what can pick-up:

Project 25 Phase II
Worcester Public Safety has migrated over to this system, the EDACS system is no longer in use.

Marlboro is going or has gone P25

The NIFOG 800's would be of some value for the OP, since they are mostly Analog, unlike the 700 that is mostly P25

And until the CoMIRS east of Springfield goes P25, they can also listen to the MSP Trunks (Analog) but won't know what TG is being heard

Thanks for this. I was also PM'd with those and will program the five 8 tacs in on Page 62:
  • 851.0125
  • 851.5125
  • 852.0125
  • 852.5125
  • 853.0125
