I have a WS 1065 and i need some help on how to down load and then upload those frequencies. please help
To begin with, which software program are you using?

PSREdit500
ARC500
or
Win500.
Amy of those will work, all have a free trial period before you have to buy, and all three can download information from the database into a programming file (since you show to be a Premium Subscriber).

Tell you the truth, I’m new at all the stuff, so at any help would be great in regarding to the the software that would be needed to support a download to this new scanner. Any help to get started would be great. Thank you so much.

Steve,
Just was wondering if you can help in picking the best software program for this unit?
thanks again
Scott
All three of the software programs that can be used for your WS1065 are listed on this Wiki page.

Along with links on where to find and download each of those programs there are links for user guides for each one. All three have a 30 day trial period so that you can see which you like more than the others. All support downloads from the RadioReference database, which you can access since you are a Premium subscriber.

My personal preference is Win500. However, the author of that program is no longer active on the forums here, and many have reported issues in getting the licensing keys they've purchased from the author's site. My second choice would be PSREdit500, and then ARC500. I have each of the three, but prefer Win500. Others here in the forum might prefer PSREdit500 or ARC500. Those are personnel preferences, not a judgement which is better. Any one of the three can successfully handle what you need.

Try all of them, one at a time if you want. Quite often, you will find that you prefer one over the other two because the interface on the screen when you use that package is similar to another program you are familiar with.
