help trying to program the bc246t

hi every one .i need some major help here. since yesterday i been trying to program the bc246t scanner

for my brother that he got . so he can listen to the digital stuff too. i tryed all the programs and after

some work i got the freescann app to work with the scanner. and in which i was able to program the

covn numbers with no problem at all. but when i tryed to program the digital and trucked fregs and so

forth . the app will load the list . but the scanner will not get no traffic from the list that is loaded. and i

know they work on my 96 fine with np. but with this bc246t scanner and the same list and numbers put it

noting at all. but my pro 96 gets traffic . so now iam at the point iam not sure what iam doing wrong

here in the programing of the scanner . but i was in hopes maybe some one with freescann app can

take a look at this file here and see what iam missing or doing worng . and let me know what it is i need

to change or what. sorry for being long winded but thanks for all your help in advance !!

Problem #1 - the 246 is NOT a digital compatible scanner. In the Uniden world, you will need a BCD396 or BCD996 for that. 73 Mike

hiyea mike thanks for the fast answer. and i had the idea it might not be a digital compatible scanner

even tho it says it is which kinda toss me for a loop . lol so now i,ll just have to set big brother down

and tell him like it is . and i think i,ll see if he can get a pro106 rs scanner instead and send the 246bc

back where it came from and get his money back out of that. and then get him going with the pro106rs

scanner and win 500!! at lest the pro106 is a digital compatible scanner. anyways thanks again
