I recently received a Realistic PRO2027 scanner when my uncle passed away. He used it quite often...but the frequency list that I have for Pinellas County doesn't add up to what is posted on RR. Does anyone know anything about these scanners?

Not sure what you want to know here. If you want operating instructions for the scanner, try the Radio Shack forum. If you want to confirm the actual frequencies being used, ask in the applicable state .

Here is a link to Radio Shack support on the PRO-2027:

It appears that most everything in your area is on a Motorola Type II Smartzone Trunked system, and they're also testing an APCO-25 digital system. Your scanner is neither. While it may be possible to scan some of the trunked systems frequencies, it wouldn't follow the system properly. Looks like it's time for a new scanner.

Here is a link to RR's Database / Pinellas County, FL.
