I recently purchased a Desktop Radio Scanner Pro-405 and I'm trying to add frequencies to it. The pre-programmed frequencies are in this format for example: 150.100 but for instance I'm trying to find frequencies for patrol in my area, and what it find is this: DEC = 18496 HEX = 484 MODE = A ALPHA TAG = HCCO4 Disp 3 DESCRIPTION = Precinct 4 - Dispatch 3
How am I supposed to enter this in the scanner or can I even enter this in the scanner? I know how to do it in the decimal format (150.100) but is there a way to enter it with the DEC/HEX that I keep coming across? I can't find anything in the book that says I can.
