I have a TM-G707A I am looking to mount in my wife's car. The only problem is I have lost the screw that connects the seperation cord to the radio body. I have tried to research it in manuals with no success. Does anyone know the size, so I can purchase a screw? I don't think I would be able to find it in the local Lowes,

I don't know about that specific radio, but all the other Kenwoods I've worked on are all metric hardware. If you have an Ace hardware or similar in your town, take it in and check with them. They often have a pretty substantial hardware section including slide out trays with just about every imaginable type/size of hardware. They've always had small metric stuff when I've been in the one local to me.

I have 2 of those radios. Same thing happened to me. I took one of the screws out of the transceiver body and used it until I could find a replacement screw. Yes they are metric. . It is the same size screw.

They are Metric screws. Most likely 2 or 3 MM.

Very likely. Hardware store will have them, maybe even Walmart. Don't get one that's longer than you need, just enough to hold the connector on, unless you take off the case and see what's behind the threads.
