Hello!
I have a Pro-82 (29-512 MHz) from Radio Shack w/ a telescoping Radio Shack antenna. I live in Boston, MA and there are many buildings and houses that block reception. I would like to know if there is a outdoor or indoor antenna w/ a further range that does not need to be mounted on a pole and is not too large that it's strange looking to my neighbors. (I like to use my scanner indoors because there aren't many fans of scanners around here.)
If there is no such antenna, is there any other way to increase reception?
I don't know too much about reception and antennas.
NOTE: I live in a house with aluminum siding.
