Help with BC536HP

This is my 1st time using this. I don't know rightly if this is the place to post this or not. I have spent hours upon hours doing research, and coming to a dead end every time. So this is my last searching. I'm going to be getting the BCD536HP. The ? I have about this BCD536HP is will it scan without a SD card?

I concur....No. It will not scan without an SD card installed. ALL the scanning info is stored on those SD cards. Without it, your BCD536HP is simply a perrty paper weight.....

If you are getting a new scanner, the SD card should be included. Many users have gotten additional cards, as they are cheap.
