Help with BCT8

i have the uniden bct8 and all i can find are 5 digit frequencies and i can only enter 4 digit ones. example 888.88888 is all i can find and i can only enter 888.8888 any help would be awesome. im from the Detroit area.

Don't worry about the last 0 as it is not needed.

enter the frequency as much as you can and it should not be an issue at all

i must be doing something wrong i enter it and it tells me error i even try to enter a frq. that i heard something on and it still tells me error. all i really want to do is enter trenton mi stuff. it only gives me a 5 digit number is something befor that i should be entering? thanks for any help
