I have a P25 trunking setup working well. Trying now to get a setup to monitor my DMR hotspot or DMR repeater. Here are my two files for FMPA and DSDPlus.

FMPA -i1 -o20001 -f446.1500
and
DSDPlus -Pwav -fr -1 -i20001 -v3 -wsl400.210 -wss100.200 -wel172.522 -wcl528.0 >>VC.log

I have the Control Menu Item set to Passive Digital Monitor. The DSD+ Event Log window reports a FMPx link established.

I am not getting any audio. What am I doing wrong. I also would like a set up of SDR# which would feed the output to -o20001. How do I do this. I've been fighting this for several days and can't seem to make it work. All help extremely appreciated.

I would drop the -1 from the DSD+ command line. If you're using DSD+ Fast Lane, go through the various menus; for starters, ensure that Synthesize All Digital Voice is selected.

If you can't get it working, show us a screen shot of all FMPA and DSD+ windows taken during a DMR transmission.

SDR# would have to be linked to DSD+ with a virtual audio cable.

slicerwizard, thanks for the quick reply.

I dropped the "-1". I grabbed a screen shot of the three open widows available from the launch and also grabbed a screen shot of all the menus on the Event Log window. Hopefully, I left something stupid out and you'll be able to spot it from these screen shots.

Thanks again de Dale - K0HYD

I think you'll need "Combined CC/VC Monitor" checked rather than "passive" before you'll hear anything...?

I don't think so. I would hope that Passive Digital Monitor would actually monitor digital voice traffic...

Only thing I see is the signal level in FMPA is through the roof. Gain levels are far too high for a local signal source.

OP didn't show us the DSD+ source audio window or the DSD+ console window during a DMR call.

Thanks enCrypt! I'll try that and let you know.

slicerwizard: For some reason those two windows don't appear when launching the bat files with the commands issued. I'll need to look into how to get them to appear also. If so I'll send them. I'll look into the gain issue tonight also. Thank again!

I'm new to the Fastlane version (used the free one for years) so slicerwizard is probably correct. I was going off a Youtube vid I saw where the guy had Passive Monitoring selected while he was showing you the software, then when he wanted to listen to audio he changed that setting to Combined CC/VC Monitor...

The syntax to adjust the gain for AirSpys is -L10 -M10 -V10 (there's 3 different settings), where you change the number to something between 1-15, I believe. 15 is the highest which is not recommended, as it will likely cause a lot of noise or bleedover. Try using like 8 or 10.
