Help with Fort Gordon.

I am trying to program Fort Gordon into my bc796d and it will not accept the offset of 8192. I just get "error". I am putting it in as motorola type 2/apco25 uhf. Is there something that I may be doing wrong or something I am not understanding? Thanks.

Ft. Gordon is an explicit APCO P-25 system, meaning you don't need to use the base, step and offset values. Leave them blank and it should work fine - it did for me last time I was there.

Thanks for your reply. One more thing I forgot to ask is can I put all the sites in one bank or do I have to put each site into its own bank?

It depends on what site gives you the best signal on the CC.
