Have been getting brief talk on 151.445 NXDN RAN 1.
My NC search resulted with this:

Freq OutFreq InToneCallsignDescriptionCategoryAgency/CountyState
151.44500159.3900077.0 PLWQBX299OperationsDistrict 10 - Lexington
District Operations
Forest ServiceNC

151.44500 94.8 PLTAC 3District 11 - Hillsborough

Don't think that this find is NC Forestry. Asheville is well over 100 miles away from my location here in Hayesville (Clay County) This frequency is also digital. Can anyone in my area help me identify this frequency?

Just an idea, but how close are you to a railroad? A lot of the railroads out in the western part from what I understand might be switching or have switched to NXDN and depending on your IF of your receiver might be a image of a railroad frequency. I used my pro2096 IF as an example and the 160-161 railroad range falls in the 151 Mhz area. I am in the Northeast part of the state so can't verify that but I have had the same thing happen many times. In fact it's a trick to extend the range of your receiver.

Sadly no railroad here. The closet one is in Sylva NC. Great Smokey Mountains Railroad. Thank you for trying.

In Clay Co NC, you're very close to the state lines with Georgia and Tennessee. Have you considered searching those states to see if anything nearby pops up?

Hello to all and thanks you for your interest in my post. I did a DB search before I posted; got some results but they seem too far away from my location. Ill keep listening; maybe get a clue from talk.
