Help with ICOM 703

Just picked me up a 703 at a local hamfest, and it says its a hf/50mhz rig. But i cant get it to get to the 6 meter band. looked through the owners manual but it dont really say anything. Could it be locked and not showing up possibly? Any help would be appricated, thanks

The early versions were marked wrong - they did not include 6 meters. The ones that included 6 meters were referred to as IC-703 + but didn't have any external markings as such. There must be some S/N where they changed but you will have to research that on your own or someone here will pop in. The same goes for the 60 meter specs.
