Running Id Tracker software connected to a BC245XLT. Works perfectly with motorola trunking systems, but not with EDACS. When trying to run an EDACS system, software tracks the frequencies ok but unable to recognize any of the TGID's. Any thoughts on a fix?

Contact Dave Hitchner directly. He's usually very helpful with problems like this. Unfortunately I don't have any EDACS systems that I can easily receive where I live (I use it with a 245, too), so I can't test any fixes. 73s Mike

Try playing around with the "EDACS Format" option on the main settings screen. I think I recall needing to have that mode match the ID mode that the scanner is using. So check that and whether you're using AFS or Decimal. Also insure bank list option is set to the "IDs" mode.

Yep. Edacs format is set to AFS, same mode that the scanner is set to. And, yes, the bank list is set to shows ids.

Like i said, it tracks motorola systems just fine. But edacs it doesn't want to seem to recognize. The scanner itself is tracking the Edacs systems w/o any problem, its just that the software won't recognize/track any of the ID's on Edacs.
