Help with Little Rock FD scanning

If the Little Rock Fire Department is rebranding does that explain why I can only pick up transmissions every other day? This just started right before Christmas.

Help with Little Rock FD scanning.

For the last three or four weeks I have been having problems picking up the Little Rock FD transmissions. My scanner can only locate the codes every other day. Weirdest thing I have ever seen. Anyone know what is going on with Little Rock Fire Department?

Little Rock FD issues

I would check first to make sure you have all the current control channels for the LR system. They are as follows:
854.5625, 854.6375, 855.8375, 856.4375, 859.2625
Note: 859.2625 is the Control Channel today, 1/5.

These may not all be in use (I have read posts on this forum indicating that the system uses only 4 control channels in rotation). My experience has been that at one time or another, since rebanding, all of the above frequencies have been control channels.

Second, make sure you have the new rebanded frequencies loaded in the scanner.
854.5625, 854.6375, and 855.8375

Thanks 7eng. That explains what is most likely my problem. I only have 2 of the control frequencies in my scanners which would explain why on certain days I am not picking anything up.
