All,

For some reason my 996P2 is Rx-ing great using Freescan but my SDS100 is silent using Sentinel. I have a hunch that the quick keys are wrong but I've tried all configurations. Yes, the channel is set to ON to broadcast. Screen reads 'ID Scanning...' in the channel row. Ideas?

Quick keys as follows:
System (1)
Dept (1)
Channels: Police (1) and Simulcast (2)

McKinney PD is encrypted. You won’t be able to hear them unfortunately. McKinney FD is in the clear.

All fo the MPD is encrypted and according to the database, even the Fire Alerting dispatch channel is encrypted. I haven't been up in that area in about a year so maybe someone can confirm that FD dispatch is also encrypted.

This is correct. Their Fire Alert channel is encrypted. Their ops channels are in the clear.
