Can anyone please tell me what changes I need to make to the trunking table or frequency list downloaded to my Pro197 for Montco? I don't get any traffic with the TSYS setup as is downloaded from Radio Reference. Do I need to enter a special control channel as the base frequency in the trunking table? Any help would be appreciated.

Where do you live? In Montco or outside of Montco? If you're too far away (which is not necessarily that far depending on where you're talking about), you will not be able to monitor the system.

Everything in the database is correct and you should not have to make any special changes.

I'm in Bucks (New Hope) I can get the conventional frequencies in Montco, but none of the trunked frequencies.

I'm going to say that without an outside directional antenna, you're probably not in a good place to receive the trunked system.

I do a lot of work up in Bucks County. I can pick up the trunked system from around the Doylestown area on 202, but north of there it gets sketchy and on the scanner in my vehicle I cannot pick up anything in the New Hope area.

Thanks guys. Guess I'll have to try the directional antenna route.

Just an update, I got a Radio Shack discone and put it up in my attic. Huge difference! I pull in conventional frequencies from Lansdale and Salford, but still no Montco trunked frequencies. I'm going to keep plugging at it because if line of sight is sufficient to pull in western conventional frequencies, why not the trunked ones?
