I'm close enough to monitor Nassau County Fire since I moved to Queens but I usually have my scanner scanning and it picks up nothing during "all hands" or "second+ alarms"
Looking at the database there's so many frequencies spanning from low band, to VHF to UHF. Is there a specific frequency to monitor when there's a big fire? What about Fireground? Is it low power simplex or is it on a repeater?
