Help with Newport News VA system.....

I dusted of my Pro96 and I tried to update firmware and it responded I have the latest good stuff. I down load Newport News VA from RR using win96 and I change nothing, I got nothing. I change the system in multi-table to re banded only and still nothing. I am in Gloucester VA on the York River, I think about 5 miles from the tower. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

Can you hear the CC ? In non trunked mode

No reband is necessary; like webodisk said check to make sure you're receiving the cc data.

I drove up Rt 17 on my way to Grafton last Saturday, July 30. Was trying out the GPS hookup to my BCD-536HP.. Heard Newport News Fire, EMP, Police, etc those files came from the Radio Reference data file.

new port news is anolog 800mhz.

if this matters newport news 800 is very simular to Suffolk its anolog had better luck hand programming from key pad.. using newport news in convential mode. same with suffolk programming each 800 freq as channels and range is better.
