Help with pro-2051

I having some trouble with my Radioshack Pro2051...

I want to program a frequency such as 159.1125, but when I try it kicks it over to the next closes frequency. How do I change the scanner so I can program it to take this kind of frequency?

It bumps it over because that frequency is out of step for that particular radio band. I don't know what the steps are, but the frequency is basically "Invalid" to put it simple.

Except that 159.11250 is valid.

Can you give a more precise explanaiton of what frequency does show up?

When I enter 159.1125 it changes it to 159.115. My pro-95 excepts the 159.1125.

Well, the only thing I can say is that the radio is made by Uniden. A check here by attempting to program that frequency into a couple of Uniden radios results in the same error. They change it to the invalid frequency, 159.1150. This includes my brand new BCD396T. It is obvious that Uniden still has not got the US bandplan down pat yet. Hopefully the 2.5 KHz error will not bother the reception significantly. The GRE built radios have similar problems in other parts of the VHF band with the new "splits" frequencies, but at least when they round they round to a valid frequency as opposed to an invalid one.
