Can someone please tell me what i need programmed into my scanner to listen to the storm chasers in twin cities, MN. I know we don't get much, but we had a couple tornadoes last year and i think it would be fun to listen to. I just don't know what frequencies i need. Thanks for the help.

Here is a list of SKYWARN Frequencies for the State of Minnesota. I pulled this information off of WXBUB (Craig Schultz)'s website.
http://www.wxbub.com/skywarn.html

If you take a look on WXBUB's website. You would want to program the primary SKYWARN Net frequencies for your area. Frequencies in green are the primary frequencies.

I can confirm one. For the Metro area, they use 146.850 FM. It's got great portable coverage from downtown Minneapolis, too.

Likely, there's no need to use PL/CTCSS tones, as many amateur radio repeaters use them for input.
