I've identified a couple of new talkgroups on this system and was curious if anybody knows what they might be.

306 - sounded like detectives when I last heard it a week or so ago.

1949 - just heard this tonight. Sounded like maybe a patch between various agencies doing a test.

306 - Arvada PD TAC 1

1949 - STARGATE-1

I'll have more info on StarGate in another post shortly...

If I understand it correct, Stargate is a MA/Comm device that allows all the the MA/Comm systems in Greater Denver Metro to communicate with one another. The device is being installed in Aurora.

I wonder if that is only what Arvada & Westy are calling it? I've never heard the term used by Denver.

Thanks for that link. I didn't read it all, but it did state that "Stargate" could link 240 trunked systems together. Also, as I suspected, the system Denver has, and tested recently is called "Network First".

Your welcome, if you read down to the 3rd or 4th page, it talks about Aurora using the EDACS (MA/COM) system and being able to communicate with other metro area systems.

Got another one - 1032. Used about 10 minutes ago. Sounded like a Westy patch dispatching units to a call.
