Help With The BCD396T And Programming It

I Was Needing To Know How To Program & Scan Two Seperate Systems New To The 396 Someone Please Help Me. :?:

Well getting the software from the Uniden site would be the best thing. Then you can just set it up on the computer. Otherwise you would.....

Goto the menu->Program System->New System->program whatever it is conventional and trunked->then put another system in-> after that when you go back to the menus and then program system you will see them and enter in all the data.

Play around with it. Its easy to figure-out. I think it is easier with these menu systems then any other scanners I have had. If all else fails read the manual. Also you will have to set up system options so you have a quick key for that system. Then it will be just like a bank in the older scanners.

the menus are what mixes everybody up!
read the manual BEFORE using the software is the best advice anyone can give for ANY menu driven device (ham radio, vcr cell phone etc).
it takes time- you wont learn the radio overnight.
