help with the pro-2055 scanner

i just got it a friend gave it to me i dont have the stuff to use the computer and have no idea to set up the trunking stuff or how to get the omaha police depeartment to come in can anyone help plzzzz

Nice friend Unfortunately, your state, county, cities are on the ORION P-25 digital system. Your 2055 is an analog scanner and won't be able to receive what you want. Great scanner for listening to commercial VHF aircraft, milair UHF aircomms. Check the radio reference database to see what you can hear on the scanner. You can go to the radio shack website and download the operator manual for free.
