I have a BCD436 and a SDS100. I use Sentinel for programming. So the following questions are for Sentinel not on the radios themselves.
I think the search functionality and programming is the same on both. Is that correct?
One feature I want to use is a custom search criteria. I think I can put this in under Broadcast Screen - Custom Band Search, Lower and Upper ranges. But I also see a custom search tab so it is confusing to me.
How then do I activate the search functionality for that by itself?
And then search only those custom criteria with Scan running?
I have more questions as I was on a cruise recently and I could not figure out how to use a number of features of these radios. I'll just create separate threads for each of those.
