running sdrsharp and dsdplus. decodes control channels just fine. with voice channels all i hear on the recorded wav file is blips and beeps. was listening to a strong signal, same results on many frequencies, even outside with the gain up all the way or at 30. got the soundcard levels at a medium level. help.

Is audio filter turned off in SDRSharp? Is frequency calibration (PPM) setting correct? Also note that it takes a decent computer to process the audio. If you are running an old junker it will act as you describe.

Show us the audio, not the bad decoding. Press that PrtSc key, paste the image into mspaint and save it as a PNG, then upload it here. Need to see the DSD+ source audio window and your SDR# settings.

In the controller I would slide the RF Gain back a touch, too strong a gain can have the same results as low gain. I would also click on the RTL-AGC see if that does anything. I would also put a check in the "Snap to Grid" and "Correct IQ" boxes.

You appear to be just randomly sliding the audio gain in SDR#. In one image, you have it set low and DSD+ shows barely a blip of RX'd audio. Then in another image, you have the audio gain even lower, pretty much at zero.

Can't see what you have SDR#'s audio output device set to. I assume it's a virtual cable, but who knows, maybe you have it set to your speakers? I dunno...

Bandwidth is too wide, but not the source of your problems. 8 kHz would be better, assuming you have your PPM correction set properly.

Filter order of 1000 seems excessive although I don't recall seeing any guidance on that setting anywhere. IIRC, 100 has worked well enough for me the few times I've used SDR#.

i have set the audio gain at 40, 50, 30, seems to be a little better at 30 but still garbled. audio output is set to cable out, dsdplus picks up what sdrsharp is receiving. ill try 8khz bandwidth. ill try filter order of 100
