went to radioshack.com to look for pc prgramming cable and they have it,but the software is not xp compatible can anyone help?also can you use the interface cable as a progamable cable

The pc programing cable that has software (#20-048) does not work on the pro 92/93/95/96/99/2067/2053/2096 and maybe few more.

The (#20-289) is the cable you need for those scanners and has no software with it. It costs about 5 dollars more in price.
