I am trying to access the newport beach police radio frequency but i have no idea how to use the database. i have a pro 528 and i dont know what the dec and hex means???


how do i work this out...step by steps would be awesome!

Newport Beach PD is encrypted and you would not be able to monitor them.

On the Orange Co System, anything with an "E" in the third column from the left is not monitorable.

The first column is the talkgroup, which is what you want your radio to scan once you have the system programed in your scanner.
