You must be talking about your BCT15X? Make sure you read the instructions carefully.

You should make sure that the included cable is in the box that came with the radio. It's a serial port connection on one end and a mini connector on the other, that connects to the front of the radio. If you intend to use it with a USB to serial converter, you'll need to make sure the latest drivers are installed.
