What do I need to get Tones to work on my scanner? I have the Tone number 162.2...but what else do I need...Please Help...Thanks

Where do I get all the info like code and things like that

This site is a pretty good source for frequencies. Search the RR Database.

If you mean how do you find PL tones, that's different. Most places that list frequency information don't list the PL or DPL codes. Some scanners have a search feature that will search through all PL codes and stop on the correct one. Some scanners, like the Radio Shack PRO-92, will instantly read out the correct PL tone on a given frequency, assuming a tone is in use. I don't know if your particular scanner model has a way to find PL tones or not.
