I am totally confused. I would like to monitor and eventually sponsor the City of Greenfield, WI as well as surrounding area agencies. The problem I am having is the transmissions sound like garbage, under water or in a metallic room. I thought that I possibly had a defective speaker but after listening to the weather it sounds just fine. Greenfield recently switched over to WisCom and they have been having issues. Currently the scanner is receiving signals but I am unable to hear anything. I uploaded the frequencies from Radio Reference using Freescan. Any assistance would be helpful.
