Should be a very common item? Try Fry's Electronics, Best Buy, New Egg, Staples, Office Max, Ham Radio Outlet, etc.

No Fry's or HRO within 150 miles of OP. I've never seen either end of a BNC-SMA adapter at Stapes/Office/Depot/Max. NewEgg isn't a store.

OTOH, Radio Shack MIGHT have it, particularly if any of the old GRE/new Whistler-built scanners they carry have SMA.
